About

Alison is a pediatric SLP with a complex understanding of child development rooted in the DIR Floortime relationship-based model. She tailors therapy to the whole child, getting to know their individual differences, strengths, and interests. Alison understands the importance of partnering with families, schools, and other members of a child's care team to provide comprehensive support. She knows that children learn best through play, and when they feel safe enough to take the lead, step out of their comfort zone, and try something new. Alison offers clinic-based therapy in Bucktown, as well as sessions in homes and schools (location dependent) in the greater Chicagoland area, for children from infancy through adolescence. Alison is in network with BCBSIL PPO and can provide a superbill for clients with out of network benefits. Alison received her Masters of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University in 2017. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a licensed SLP in the state of Illinois.
